
Jo Ann Antinone - Director
Mrs. Antinone is the director of the L.D. Bell High School Choral Department. This is Mrs. Antinone's 18th year of teaching. She was raised in Bryan, TX and received her Bachelor degree in Music Education from Southwestern University in Georgetown, TX and her Masters degree in Choral Conducting from Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY. Mrs. Antinone is often called upon as a guest conductor around the DFW Metroplex and maintains an active solo performance schedule throughout the year. Mrs. Antinone serves as the primary instructor for the A Cappella, Varsity Women's, Varsity Men's, Choralier Men's, and Bell System performance ensembles.

Carla Lindberg - Assistant Director
Mrs. Lindberg holds a Master of Music in Piano Performance and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music Education from the University of New Mexico. She brings over 30 years experience teaching music and singing to all ages from babies to adults. She began teaching private lessons in piano, theory, and voice while still in high school and started teaching Elementary Music in the public school system in 1991 where she started an after-school choir program for young singers. She took a break from public school in 1996 to start a family. During this time, she worked as a Professional Collaborative Pianist, staying quite busy playing piano and coaching numerous students all over the DFW area, including LD Bell High School where she has been the primary accompanist since 2010. She has continued teaching music through private lessons, Kindermusik®, her local church choirs, guest music director for many musical theatre productions, and served as the beginning choir & theory teacher for Lux Venit Choral Academy. She is thrilled to be starting her second year in the LD Bell Choral Program as the Assistant Director and primary instructor for the Choralier Women, Bel Canto, and Junior Varsity Mixed Choirs.
